We were three friends traveling together with a budget of 200 dollars per night. On some nights we had to go above that limit but the Hampton Inn in Lake Placid was the best value and the best hotel overall among all the places we stayed. Everything was excellent: the room was comfortable, the beds were great, the bathroom was clean, the pool and the jacuzzi were enjoyable, and the service from every staff member was warm and welcoming. The views were beautiful, the breakfast was satisfying, and the lobby felt inviting the moment we entered. A truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
Took a weekend trip up to Lake Placid with the family and we stayed at this hotel. Great accommodations and even better staff…. I recklessly left behind a Irish Hanna Cap that I purchased in the town, and was called by the general manager, Oziel, telling me that the housekeeping manager, Gustavo, had it in there possession and will ship it to me promptly. Don’t hesitate to book with the Hampton inn & suites at Lake Placid. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Oziel, Gustavo and Staff!!!
We had a great time and wanted to thank Blake the desk clerk for going above and beyond and getting our passport at the bar next door! We got to the border and did a passport check and we realized one of us was missing it! We called the bar and no one answers after 10pm, we called the Hampton and Blake gladly grabbed it so that we could pick it up past the time the bar closed!!
Ozzy is incredible. Great vibes right out the gate. Very easy going experience with everything I can wish for in a hotel. Dont think twice about staying here. They also have a indoor pool and bar/restaurant.

Very friendly staff from that start. Breakfast at Hampton Inns is always a feature and this one did not disappoint! Clean, well stocked. The room was spacious- we got a king suite- very clean and well stocked. Amazing location, we walked to the Main Street area. Also go to Origins Coffee!!
The front desk manager, Oziel Garibay (Ozzy), was fantastic. Truly above and beyond any hotel service that we have experienced. We usually focus on Marriott, so this was a departure from our usual booking. In addition to Ozzy, all of the staff that we ran into was unfailingly polite. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful hotel with super easy Mirror Lake access. Room was perfect as well. There weren’t any upgrades for our anniversary but we still got a bottle of sparkling wine in our room to celebrate! Great time overall!
